| At the heart of the southern Alps in the massif du Mercantour , about 90 kms from Nice and the Italian border, the Grand Plaisir resort provides access to 120 km of pistes with altitudes ranging from 1800 to 2610 metres. It enjoys a wonderful location and high altitude that ensures both real Mediterranean sun as well as exceptional snow cover. Featured in the Michelin guide, the Diva is a luxurious chalet with 28 rooms and suites and is one of the most beautiful examples of its kind in the Alps. This 4 star hotel was inspired by the design of traditional mountain chalets. Situated directly to the south of the ski slopes, it towers above the valley and the Mercantour National park. The 28 spacious rooms and suites open directly onto south facing, sun-filled balconies. They all come equipped with a satellite television, telephone, mini bar and offer full room service. A sauna is also available to guests. The restaurant offers a haute cuisine menu which can be enjoyed on the large outdoor terrace. Two bars – the Diva and the Figaro –are also available to clients.
