In the area known as Monterone of Forio. The Island of Ischia is famous for its natural thermal hot springs. We built the hotel on our thermal hot spring 'Tironi' which is well known for its healing effects for arthritis and other ailments.The hotel is family owned and operated with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The building is 3 stories with a restaurant, a bar and a sitting room with satellite TV. The building is equipped with an elevator. There is a pool which is filled with thermal water from the natural hot spring 'Tironi'. There is a nice patio area surrounding the pool and a large roof top patio with lounge chairs and umbrellas. The reception area is equipped with a fax machine and internet access for use by the hotel guests at a reasonable rate. Marble staircases and hand-painted ceramic tiled floors throughout give the hotel an Italian flair. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the center of the quaint town of Forio. It is a ten minute walk from the hotel to the nearest beach 'La Chiaia'. There is a convenient minibus that runs every our to and from the hotel to Citara-beach where the most well known attraction on the island 'The Poseidon Gardens' are located. Villa Thomas has 34 guest rooms all of which have a full private bathroom.There are all two larger suites each of which has 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom. The hotel provides safes to store valuable items. The restaurant serves a variety of delicious italian and local cuisine. All meals are served in a sitroom envirement. Continental breakfast includes good american coffee, juice, cereals and a variety of breads. Dinner includes salad, antipasta, 2 courses and dessert. The pool is filled each day with fresh thermal water from the natural hot spring located under the hotel. The water temperature ranges from 90° to 100°. The thermal pool provides a wonderful combination of a swimming pool and a hot tub. The thermal pool is the perfect remedy for the weary traveller. The rooftop patio provides a beautiful panoramic view of Monte Epomeo the highest mountain on the island and the Mediterrean Sea. On e clear evening you can relax on the rooftop while taking in a spectacular sunset. Per il pranzo e la cena il menu e consiste in due primi e due secondi piatti a scelta, due contorni ed insalata. L'uso dei lettini ed degli ombrelli è gratis. La piscina è situata nella parte antistante dell' Hotel. L'acqua termominerale ha un temperatura di 38 gradi alla fonte e viene cambiata tutta giornalmente. Essa per le sue particolari proprietà chimico-fisiche, è ottima per la cura di ogni forma reumatica ed artritica. Annesso alla piscina c'è un solarium. Al terzo piano, raggiungibile con ascensore, c'è un grosso solarium di 730 mq, dove ci si può abbronzare od arrostire ben bene, vista l'esposizione ad ovest dell' Hotel. E possibile godere inoltre dal terrazzo una meravigliosa vista panoramica del mare della montagna e della cittadina di Forio. Das Hotel verfuegt ueber 34 Zimmer, die in Einzel- Doppel- und Dreibettzimmer aufgeteilt sind. Die Zimmer verfuegen ueber ein eigenes Bad oder Dusche, Bidet, WC, Heizung und haben fast alle einen Balkon. Unser Restaurant bietet eine Menueauswahl von regionaler und nationaler Kueche an. Ein erweitertes Fruehstueck (kein Buffet) sowie unsere gute Kueche mit festem Menue sorgen fuer das weitere Wohl unserer Gaeste. Zum Abendessen werden je 2 Vor- und Hauptspeiseteller zur Auswahl gestellt, die vorab von einem Salat und einem Antipasto begleitet werden. Liegen u. Seine besonderen Eigenschaften zeigen vor allem Heilerfolge bei rheumatischen Erkrankungen auf.Unsere große Dachterrasse mit 730 qm bietet neben der Heliotherapie einen grandiosen Panoramablick vom Monte Epomeo bis zum Meer. An schoenen Sommertagen, wenn die glutrote Sonne im Meer versinkt, koennen sie von unserer Dachterrasse einmalige Sonnenuntergaenge erleben. Im nahegelegenen Hotel Castaldi (50m. Entfernung) koennen unsere Hotelgaeste kuren. Transfer inklusive. Die ganze Saison ueber erhalten unsere Gaeste 50 % Ermaessigung auf 10 Fangoanwendungen in Verbindung mit 10 Baedern oder 10 Duschen. Fuer die Kur ist eine aerztliche Untersuchung vor Ort notwendig und kostenpflichtig.
