| Linda and Ian Davies welcome you to their 18th Century Grade II listed home that was once the residence of the revered local blacksmith and goes back into deepest New Forest history. Built in 1793 and kept close to the original; the old forge building is still here. Situated in the more peaceful north New Forest where the abundance of ponies and donkeys roam freely. Noted for excellent views over a romantic landscape, Forge Cottage is a peaceful getaway. The location is within easy driving reach of the famous Stonehenge and the historic cities of Salisbury and Winchester. Easy access to Southampton, Lymington, Lyndhurst, Beaulieu and coastal resorts. The accommodation comprises of 2 double en-suite guest rooms with colour televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. They are situated in the separate ground floor annex surrounded by beautiful gardens. Meals English or Continental breakfast is served from 8.30am and is included in the room rate. Lunch and dinner may be taken at our superb local restaurants/pubs - and we would be happy to advise you. The village is also served by Bramshaw Post Office and Stores where information maps and guides, details of walks and cycle rides can be obtained. Off-license and general store.
