| The Buena Vista Hostal is located in a residential and quiet area of Arequipa, next to downtown and with easy access to all the transport stations.It is a new and comfortable apart-like building with excellent views of the three volcanoes surrounding the city. You will have a comfortable stay in our place and in Arequipa, the historical city founded in 1540, which now handles the category of Cultural Heritage of Humankind by Unesco. The Buena Vista Hostal have single, double and wedding rooms. We have ample rooms fully carpeted and also with wooden floor, as per your choice. Each room is equipped with new and comfortable beds. The matresses are semi-orthopedic and follow the required international hotel standards accomplishing our main priority: that you sleep pleasantly. All the rooms have an adequate ventilation and illumination and you will enjoy with the good views from them. Every room have ample wardrobes for disposing of your belongings with enough space. You have a personal security box, as an alternative to the one in the Administration. The bathrooms count with hot and cold water 24 hours a day and are newly equipped. We use solar energy for water supplying and have alternative electric showers when the sun bright is reduced (only 2 months a year). A continental breakfast is included in our price. We have a cafeteria, terraces, parking, transfer and taxi service, telefax, internet access and accept major credit cards. | Casa Arequipa was a neo-colonial home built for a wealthy local family in the mid-20th century. It was constructed using the best local materials: sillar, or crushed volcanic ash from the surrounding volcanos for the wall. Marble and mahagony floors. Hand-crafted wrought iron for the interior fixtures. In 2002, we bought the house and transformed it into a European-style three star guesthouse. We worked hard to maintain the original aura. But we also added private bathrooms in each room and other modern features. The result is a careful mix of Old World grandeur and contemporary amenities. We offer seven spacious rooms. They are on the first and second floors of the house. Each room has a double or king sized bed with a wooden frame custom- made by local craftsmen. We provide sheets made of soft 100 percent cotton, cotton towels, and alpaca blankets. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower or tub. Cotton towels are also provided. All rooms are equipped with telephones, cable and clock-radios. CD players are available, too. A full buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. | ||
