About one year ago I have been bewitched by this house and now I would like to give you a few details about it. The first owner of this house was Mrs Maria Hellersberg, a Germany lady who fell in love with the coastline, during the journeys in the South of Italy. The building appears gaudy among the mountains’ rocks, all surrounded by lemon trees, olive groves and beautiful bougainvillea flowers. The house is situated at 800 metres from the centre of Positano, one of the most exclusive places of the coastline. Talking about the house, you will reach it climbing a few steps (about 130), from the main road. Then, a picturesque path will lead you directly to the entrance of the casa Montechiaro. The building preserves the typical structure of all the villas of Positano, with arches. Outside, it is surrounded by a terrace and a small garden with 5 trees: orange tree, lemon tree, citron, medlar tree and a just planted apricot tree. Inside, there are vaulted ceiling and pavement with tiles. Rooms: 1 wide living room with fully equipped fully cooking area, included any tool and cutlery (together with refrigerator, freezer, oven, washing machine, iron and ironing board) 1 bedroom (double bed) 1 small reading-room with fire-place and 2 bed-sofas 1 bathroom with bathtub From the bedroom and reading-room, you can accede to the wide sea-view balcony, from which you can also see Praiano, another pearl of the coast. Conditions: No pets are allowed Rates included water, electricity and gas Linen change for more than 7 days stay, must be looked after by guests House-cleaning service on request (€ 8per hour) La prima proprietaria di questa casa si chiamava Maria Hellersberg, tedesca. Io che vi parlo sono Letizia, romana di nascita, innamorata di Positano stregata un anno fa da questa bella casa bianca sulla roccia che si fa spazio tra alberi di limone, ulivi, bouganvilles rosse e fucsia e piante grasse in fiore che spuntano dal muro della stradina che la costeggia. Attraverso viottoli e scale (130 gradini) si arriva alla pittoresca Casa Montechiaro che conserva la tipica struttura positanese, ad archi. L’appartamento ha i soffitti a volta e cotto antico come pavimento, ed è al piano terra. Lo circonda una zona dotata di terrazza ed un piccolo giardino dove ci sono cinque alberi: arancio, limone, cedro, nespolo ed un albicocco appena piantato, oltre a fiori e piante. Il mare è di fronte e quasi sì tocca con le mani. All’interno c’è uno spazioso salottino adibito anche a zona pranzo, su cui si affaccia la cucina completamente arredata d’ogni utensile e posateria nonché di frigorifero, congelatore, forno, lavatrice, ferro ed asse da stiro. L’appartamento è completo di una camera da letto matrimoniale ed una piccola stanza soggiorno con camino dove è possibile dormire in due persone. Il bagno, curato nei minimi particolari, è dotato di vasca. Le camere da letto si aprono su un’ampia balconata panoramica da cui si può vedere Praiano, altro centro della Costiera Amalfitana e di fronte tanto mare e cielo. Condizioni: Non sono ammessi animali. I consumi di acqua, elettricità e gas sono inclusi nel prezzo. Per periodi più lunghi di 7 giorni il cambio della biancheria da letto, bagno e cucina dovrà avvenire a cura del soggiornante. Pulizie infrasettimanali su richiesta (€ 8 all’ora). | ||
