Italian Social Tourism Centre and is therefore qualified to host only members of this organisation. You can become a member by paying the membership card of only Euro 2.50 directly on site at Villa Helios. Villa Helios is under non-profit management. All profits are entirely transferred in favour of the "Saint Giuseppe" or "Domus Quietis" rest homes. Villa Helios is located in the centre of Capri, only five minutes away from the famous square that is the world's living room. The rooms are situated on two floors. Most of them are double rooms and all rooms have a view and recently renovated furnishings. There are five rooms with windows but without a view and have furnishings that are new but slightly plainer. All rooms provided with a shower or a bathtub and telephone. In addition, Villa Helios will be the only structure on Capri starting in the year 2000 with five rooms equipped for the disabled. A television is made available to guests in the entrance hall. Villa Helios was originally the villa of a Swiss noblewoman and benefactress, built at the beginning of the 20th century with a style that is unique among Capri's architecture. It was rebuilt several times during its lifetime. Managed in the past by the Order of the Rave Sisters of Saint Elisabeth, today is managed by "San Costanzo" Fundation which includes also the Parish of Saint Stephen and the order of the Sisters of the Holy Hearts. A small and charming chapel that is still functional and delectable stained-glass windows of hte era are found inside. Being a "holiday house", we can accept reservation for at least five days, especially in the summer period, form May to September. Rarely there will be the possibility to book for two, three days or weekends. Rarely there will be the possibility to book for two, three days or weekends. For those who desire to stay for small periods. we suggest to contact us few days before the arriving date. Villa Helios e' affiliata al 'C.I.T.S.' Centro Italiano per il Turismo Sociale e percio' e' abilitata all'ospitalita' dei soli soci di tale organismo. Si puo' diventare soci, direttamente a Villa Helios, con una tessera di sole Euro 2.50 . In particolare la Villa Helios e' gestita esclusivamente con finalita' di benificenza a favore della casa per riposo "S.Giuseppe" o "Domus Quietis". Villa Helios si trova al centro di Capri a cinque minuti dalla famosa piazzetta, salotto del mondo. Le camere sono disposte su due piani. Prevalentemente sono camere doppie, tutte con vista, con un arredo rifatto a nuovo due anni fa'; vi sono poi cinque camere con finestra ma senza vista e con un arredamento pure nuovo, ma leggermente piu' semplice. Tutte le camere sono fornite di doccia o di vasca ed hanno il telefono in camera. E' possibile fruire di una televisione comune nella sala di ingresso. La Villa Helios nasce come Villa di una nobile benefattrice svizzera costruita agli inizi del secolo, con uno stile unico nell'architettura caprese. Essa Þ stata ristrutturata pi¨ volte nel corso della sua esistenza. E' stata gestita in passato dall'Ordine delle Suore Rave di S.Elisabetta, ed ora dalla Fondazione "San Costanzo" di cui fa parte la Parrocchia S.Stefano e la Congregazione delle Suore Francescane dei Sacri Cuori. Al suo interno vi Þ una piccola ma graziosa cappella funzionante e con deliziose vetrate d'epoca. Per la sua natura di "casa per ferie" normalmente si accettano prenotazioni per almeno cinque giorni, soprattutto nel periodo maggio-settembre.Potrebbe per= accadere che vi sia una disponibilitÓ di pochi giorni tra una prenotazione ed un altra. Per chi volesse pernottare poche notti suggeriamo di mettersi in contatto con noi pochi giorni prima del periodo prescelto. | ||
