In the seventies the hotel had a very good reputation for its restaurant "HECKER`S DEELE", a place for celebrities like Michael Douglas, Giscard D`Estaing, Udo J³rgens and the German Entertainer Harald Juhnke. In the mid-nineties the hotel was fully renovated leaving an extraordinary lobby with a classical Italian feel. Hecker`s Hotel is well renowned for its personal service and charm and is ideally located within short distance of the important fair grounds, sights and shopping districts of Berlin. The hotel offers 72 rooms equipped with radio, cable television, minibars, roomsafes, telephone, fax and computer links. 26 rooms have been upgraded with marble baths and individual controlled air-conditioning. For "long stays" we especially recommend our apartments with kitchenettes and walk-in closets. Same-day laundry and shoe clean service, room service, a 24 hour concierge, and daily newspapers are available on for your comfort. Non-smoking rooms and rooms with disabled facilities are available on request. Das Heckers Hotel ist ein Privat-Hotel der "First Class" Kategorie direkt am Kurf³rstendamm gelegen. Bekannt wurde es in den 70er Jahren besonders durch das Restaurant Hecker's Deele, einem Prominententreff, in dem sich schon Giscard D'estaing, Harald Juhnke, Karl Lagerfeld, Udo J³rgens und auch Michael Douglas die Klinke in die Hand gaben. In den Jahren 1994 und 1995 wurde der gesamte Hotelkomplex komplett neu gestaltet und umgebaut. Dennoch blieb der individuelle Charme des Hauses mit seinem pers÷nlichen Service f³r den Geschõftsreisenden und den Stõdtetouristen erhalten. Im Mittelpunkt des Hauses steht sicherlich die au¯ergew÷hnliche Hotellobby in klassischem italienischen Design.
