The hotel "Il Girasole" run by Mr. and Mrs. Orlando is located near the Castle of Materita -- primary residence of Axel Munthe, the Swedish writer and doctor, where between 1927 and 1929 he wrote "The Story of San Michele", the novel read throughout the world -- between the Belvedere Migliera to the feet of Monte Solaro and is only 300 meters from the bus station which connects the most important points of the island. Das Hotel "Il Girasole" des Ehepaares Orlando befindet sich am Fusse des "Monte Solaro" und liegt zwischen dem Aussichtspunkt "Migliera" und der nur 300m entfernten Bus-Haltestelle. Von dort konnen die Gaste alle wichtigen Punkte der Insel erreichen. Das Hotel sieht wie eine vertraumte Oase aus.Hier in einer der wunderschonsten Ecken der Insel mochte man seine Ferien verbringen.
