| Groot Warnsborn - A Hampshire Classic Hotel owes its typical pleasant calm to the 750 hectares of woods that are part of the estate and surround the hotel. The original 18th century country seat was destroyed by a fire during World War II and was rebuilt as a hotel in 1950, but by good fortune, the coach house, chapel and orangery were preserved. The bedrooms are situated in the landhouse and in the coach house and have been beautifully decorated and are furnished with classical furniture and charming fabrics. The tasteful restaurant with its classical oriented cuisine has a very varied and attractive menu card, which is updated every season. There is a fish month and a wild month with accompanying arrangements. In the summer there is a possibility to have lunch outside on the terrace or to dine and enjoy delicious dishes in a fairy tale oasis of peace. | ||
